ITF WORLD TENNIS TOUR – Grand Palace Cup by Formula TX singles semifinals

On Friday, February 5, the semifinalists of the international professional tennis tournament ITF MEN`S WORLD TENNIS TOUR – Grand Palace Cup by Formula TX with the prize fund of 15 000 USD were known on the courts of the Tennis Formula in Lakhta.
No. 1 seeded Ian Choinskey of Great Britain defeated Russian Ivan Gakhov (6/3, 6/1). In the final match Choynsky will play against Alexey Zakharov of Russia who defeated Martin Krumic of the Czech Republic 7/5, 6/1. Russian tennis player Alibek Kachmazov made it to the semifinals as he defeated a Moldovan Alexander Kozbinov 6/4, 7/6 (5). Now Kachmazov will play against experienced Konstantin Kravchuk who defeated his compatriot Bogdan Bobrov 6/7 (4), 6/4, 6/3.
In doubles the duo of Alexander Kozbinov (Moldova)- Marat Devyatyarov (Ukraine) overcame the Russian tandem of Artem Dubrilevny-Alexey Zakharov 7/6 (1), 6/0. In the title match, Marat and Alexander will meet the Czech pair of Andrew Paulson-Patrick Rickle, who managed to defeat the Russians Konstantin Kravchuk and Maxim Ratnyuk (6/2, 7/5).
